PCD® is a completely automated cyclone detection system that is designed to identify a cyclone rope or plugging situation and send an immediate signal to the control system for action.
The system is comprised of sensors that sit on the apex and overflow of each individual cyclone. These sensors send real-time information to a field panel and server which processes the data, analyses the signals and determines the state of the cyclone. This data is then passed to the control system for action.
The cyclone is continuously monitored and any roping or plugging issues detected within seconds of an event occurring.
